Maria Saloni-Sadowska
Kuryłowicz & Associates, SARP (Warsaw)
Mgr inż. arch. Maria Saloni-Sadowska graduated with honours from the Warsaw University of Technology Faculty of Architecture in 1995. She has worked at Kuryłowicz&Associates Architecture Studio since 1995. Currently, she is Chief Architect managing a multiple-member team of architects. She has held a building licence and has been a member of the Mazovian Regional Chamber of Architects since 2002.
She co-authored many of the projects created at the Studio and executed, including Zielna Point, an office building in Warsaw; the Eko Park, Marina Mokotów, Ostoja Wilanów and Nowy Mokotów residential estates in Warsaw; and the HILTON Hotel buildings in Gdańsk and Łódź.
She is a speaker at scientific conferences addressing issues of design for contemporary residential development in the urban structure.
She has been active in the Warsaw Branch of the Association of Polish Architects (OW SARP). Since 2006, she has been a member of the OW SARP Competition Jury Board. She has been a competition judge in a number of architecture competitions of nationwide importance.
She served as Vice-President of the Association of Polish Architects Warsaw Branch from 2015 and since 2016 she has been President of OW SARP.
Apart from professional interest in architecture and design she is actively involved in sports and travelling. She finished several marathon runs and winter long-distance cross-country ski races.
